Arjun Guragain stands as a dynamic and versatile figure in the field of Nepali film journalism, known for his dedication, creativity, and hands-on approach to media production. Born in Myanglung–10, Tehrathum, he began his academic journey at Shree Singhbahi Secondary School and later pursued higher education at Sukuna Multiple Campus in Sundar Haraicha, Morang.
His professional journey in media began in 2011 (2068 B.S.) with Radio Betana, Morang, where he stepped into the world of film journalism. From the very beginning, Arjun demonstrated a natural ability to blend storytelling with technical skills, working seamlessly between microphones and cameras.
In 2012, he joined Mukteshwar FM in Sarlahi as a Program Coordinator, where he also took on the role of training new radio jockeys. This phase highlighted not only his communication skills but also his leadership and mentorship abilities.
From 2013 onwards, Arjun worked with Namaste FM, Itahari, as a Program Coordinator and Production Manager, particularly focusing on advertisement production. During his nearly three-year tenure, he strengthened his expertise in radio programming and content creation.
Since 2016, Arjun has been actively associated with Majjako Online Media Pvt. Ltd., one of Nepal’s prominent digital platforms. As a film journalist, he handles a wide spectrum of responsibilities, including conducting interviews, videography, photography, news writing, and complete video report production and presentation.
